Short Bio

​ Xiaoyuan is currently a 3rd year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science at City University of Hong Kong, under the supervison of Prof. Qingfu Zhang. Before that, He obtained the B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees both from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2017 and 2020 seperatively.

He is broadly interested in the field of provable multi-objective optimization (MOO) and its applications in multitask learning and generative models (e.g., Diffusion model, Gflownet). He is both interested in the theory and implements of MOOs.
